Spring is about to arrive in Bearmont, and the family of Bears had been waiting for this moment with joy and anticipation! This year the Baby Bears want to learn how to make the world famous BEARMONT MAPLE SYRUP made from the sap of the magnificent maple trees that are so abundant in the area where they live! There are so many things we can do with maple syrup… and all are explained in this very special book for children.
FALL IN BERMONT
A FESTIVAL OF COLOR!
Our BEAR FAMILY, after enjoying a fabulous Summer in Bearmont, are ready to welcome the Fall… Halloween, Thanksgiving…ull É There is much to see in Bearmont in this colorful time of the year. And once the leaves turn red, orange and yellow, there is no doubt that FALL has arrived in Bearmont. Mornings are chillier and the sun sets early in the evenings… Crops are ready for harvest, and the Bear Family enjoys those wonderful Halloween and Thanksgiving days following traditions that they wish to keep very much alive. Thanksgiving, of course, signaled the end of the Fall season. They also know that soon the weather will start getting coldier and snowier… so they get ready for a snowy Winter and a very special Christmas. A wonderful book for children…and adults! Especially for all that believe in maintaining American traditions among our families!
CHRISTMAS IN BEARMONT
A VERY SPECIAL HOLIDAY!
CHRISTMAS IN BEARMONT is a beautiful book for everyone who believe in our American traditions… celebrating Christmas among the first. As the days and nights became noticeably colder in Bearmont, and the trees began to shed the multicolored leaves they had displayed so proudly during the Fall, the three Baby Bears anxiously anticipated their first snowfall… and Christmas. As the holiday approached, the Bear Family began to decorate their cottage with many different Christmas ornaments they had gathered throughout the years. But… where to begin? Of course! With the most important ornament of all in this joyous season: the Christmas tree, which every year they borrowed from the nearly woods to bring into their homes only during the Holidays. Beary Christmas! This is a beautiful story written by Robert Spreckels which show American traditions that he wishes all children to be familiar with.
THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS
A CHRISTMAS CLASSIC BY CLEMENT MOORE
THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, by CLEMENT MOORE… This very famous poem was first published anonymously in the Troy (New York) “Sentinel” on December 23, 1823. Moore later acknowledged authorship and the poem was included in an 1844 anthology of his works. “A Visit from St. Nicholas” is largely responsible for the conception of Santa Claus, including his physical appearance, the night of his visit, his mode of transportation, the number and names of his reindeer, and the tradition that he brings toys to children. This poem has influenced ideas about St. Nicholas and Santa Claus beyond the United States to the rest of the English-speaking world and beyond. In this beautiful book, our three BABY BEARS go to bed early in the Bearmont evening: “The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there”. A book for children… CHILDREN OF ALL AGES, OF COURSE!
SUMMER FUN IN BEARMONT
A WONDERFUL VACATION!
SUMMER FUN IN BEARMONT is a very special book… for children and grown ups. Our BEAR FAMILY, after spending a wonderful Spring making maple syrup in bearmont, is now ready to ejoy their Summer vacations. In Bearmont, vacations are great! It is a time that the three little bears enjoy most… knowing that they have just finished another grade in school and it is now VACATION TIME. For the bears this is the time of the year to act on plans they had prepared during the cold days of Winter. They love to go fishing, rowing or sailing in the beautiful Lake Champlain, and they still love to search in its waters for “Champy”, the friendly monster that (according to the old timers) still lives, hiding in the depths of this enormous lake. Spend a Summer full of unexpected surprises in BEARMONT with our wonderful family of bears!
